METALONGO – Metalúrgica de Valongo, Lda was created in 1980 by a group of 6 collaborators and its activity consisted mainly in the manufaction of light roof structures of industrial buildings some plate works, such as silos and small reservoirs.
In 1989 an experienced metallomechanic technician joined the management team, providing a new dynamics to the company activity which mainly consists of:
- Metallic structures for buildings;
- Metallic structures for Service Stations;
- Big electro filters (ESP);
- Specials formwork;
- Bridge formwork;
- Impact crusher equipment
The company was endowed with equipment adequated to the new products and a portfolio of highly demanding clients, with regards to quality and fulfilment of contractual stated periods, was developed.
Currently METALONGO meets the certification norms ISO 9001:2008, keeping and conquering client companies of the highest national and international standards. In 1998 exports started and at the moment they represent 65% of the company production.
Currently, the politics followed by METALONGO consists of:
